On Saturday (3/29), we drove out to Fire Island, a barrier island off the coast of Long Island. It was really windy and cold, so we didn't stay very long, but we got to collect a few seashells, and Maggi got a chance to chase the seagulls. It was a fun little trip, and we'll probably go back there once it gets a bit warmer.

On Saturday (1/12) we went to Great Kills Park and walked along the beach. It was surprisingly warm for January, and we spent a few hours there walking along the beach and picking up seashells and sea glass.
